# Domain transfer from snapps

# 🔄How to Transfer Out a Domain from Snapps
If you’d like to transfer your domain from Snapps to another registrar, you can do so easily by following these steps:


### Step 1: Go to **My Domains**
* Log in to your Snapps dashboard.
* Navigate to the **My Domains** tab to see the list of all domains you own.

### Step 2: Unlock Your Domain
* Find the domain you want to transfer.
* Toggle the **Domain Lock** option **off**.
* Domains must be unlocked before they can be transferred to another registrar.

### Step 3: Get the Authorization Code (Auth Code / EPP Code)
* Next to your domain, click on the **"i" (information)** icon.
* Copy the **Auth Code** displayed.
    * This code will be required by your new registrar to initiate the transfer.

### Step 4: Start the Transfer at Your New Registrar
* Go to the new registrar where you’d like to move your domain.
* Begin the transfer process and provide the **Auth Code** when prompted.


⚠️ **Important Notes**:
* Domains must be at least **60 days old** before they can be transferred.
* Make sure your domain is not expired before starting the transfer.
* Transfers may take **5–7 days** to complete depending on the registrars involved.
