Transfer Domain to snapps
📥 How to Transfer a Domain Into Snapps
If you already own a domain with another registrar and want to move it to Snapps, you can do so quickly by following these steps:
Step 1: Start the Transfer
- Log in to your Snapps dashboard.
- Go to the My Domains page.
- Click on the Transfer button.
- Search for the domain name you want to transfer into Snapps.

Step 2: Make the Transfer Payment
- A popup will appear with the transfer details.
- Choose your payment method and click Pay to initiate the transfer.

Step 3: Unlock the Domain at Your Current Registrar
- If your domain is locked for transfer, you’ll see a Domain Locked button.
- A domain lock is a security feature that prevents unauthorized transfers or changes. While it is locked, the domain cannot be transferred to another registrar without your explicit approval.
- Log in to your current registrar and unlock the domain before proceeding. If a failed transfer or incorrect authorization code causes the registrar to place a temporary lock, contact the current registrar to ask whether it can be removed; otherwise, wait until the stated retry date before submitting the transfer again.

Step 4: Provide Domain Information & Auth Code
- Once your domain is unlocked, you’ll see the Complete Transfer button.
- Click it, and a popup will open where you’ll need to provide:
- Personal information (Name, Phone Number, Email, Address, Country, etc.)
- Authorization Code (Auth Code / EPP Code) from your current registrar
- After filling in all details, click Complete Transfer.

Step 5: Verify the Transfer via Email
- You’ll receive a verification email at the domain’s registered email address.
- Open the email and confirm the transfer.
âś… Once verified, your domain transfer will be completed, and your domain will appear in your Snapps account.
If the Domain Extension Is Not Supported
Direct transfers for some extensions, including .****co.uk, may not be supported in Snapps. In that case, you can either keep the domain with its current registrar and connect it to your Snapps site using DNS, or contact the registrar to move the domain into Snapps’ GoDaddy reseller account. The reseller account is owned by Snapps; it is not another customer account. After the domain is moved there, it can be transferred into your Snapps account.
To connect a domain without transferring it, add these DNS records at the current registrar:
- CNAME — Name:
www; Value:s.``multiscreensite.com - A — Name:
@; Value:35.172.94.1 - A — Name:
@; Value:100.24.208.97
After adding the records, publish the site and connect the domain in Snapps. DNS changes may take time to propagate. Snapps automatically generates an SSL certificate for a published site when the DNS records are correctly configured.
⚠️ Important Notes:
- Your domain must be unlocked at your current registrar before transfer.
- Make sure you have access to the registered email address for verification.
- Transfers usually take 5–7 days to finalize.
- Domains purchased through snappsdomains.com are managed there; contact snappsdomains.com support for domain renewal or account issues if the domain does not appear in your Snapps account.
