Integrate Contact Forms With Google Sheets

Looking for an easy way to backup and share your lead form submissions?

Or maybe you want to run more advanced automations with Zapier?

Look no further than our integration with Google Sheets!

To extend the reach of your Contact Forms, integrate them with Google Sheets.

To add integrations, right-click the Contact Form , click Edit Content , and then click the Integrations tab.

Google Sheets Integration

Use the Google Sheets integration to instantly add contact form submission data to a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. All contact fields in the form will be populated into the spreadsheet, including a time stamp of when the form was submitted.

  1. Click Google Sheets, and click Sign in with Google .
  2. Click Allow to grant permissions to connect to your Google account. If your computer is connected to multiple Google accounts, select the account you would like to connect to this form.
  3. Select if you want to add data to an existing spreadsheet or to a new one.
  4. Select the spreadsheet you would like to submit the form data to. You can select the spreadsheet from a list, or use the search bar to find a specific sheet.

Important Considerations

  • If you have multiple forms on the site you can connect each one to a different spreadsheet, including spreadsheets in different Google accounts.
  • You can connect a couple of forms to the same spreadsheet. In this case, make sure that the fields and order in the form are identical to fit the information submitted.
  • Submitting form data to a Google spreadsheet does not prevent you from downloading the data as a .csv file, or from receiving form submission emails.
  • Sometimes, after clicking Allow to create the connection between Snapps and Google, you may need to refresh the Contact Form by closing out of the Contact Form editor and then right-clicking on it again, click Edit Content and then returning to the Integrations tab to confirm your connection was created.

Snapps allows you to upload several different file types to the root of your website. This allows you to have selected files that are served from the root of your domain, in order to use them as additional data to assist in your website. The most common use cases for this are replacing the default robots.txt and sitemap.xml files that Snapps automatically generates (for more information on the default sitemap, see How do I Access the Sitemap? ). If for example, you want to override these files, you can upload your own. Or, maybe you want to add a file which Snapps does not generate, like ads.txt. NOTE If you do not see the File option on the URL Redirect screen, access it first from the SEO settings and upload a file. After this, additional files can be uploaded by going directly to the URL Redirect screen. To override the default files (sitemaps and robots.txt files), ensure the Source URL matches the file names (sitemap.xml and robots.txt) exactly. The file types supported are .xml, .txt, and .json. The platform does not validate custom files. For example, if a corrupt file is uploaded, it will still be served.

Expand the capabilities of the website builder with custom HTML. This widget allows you to embed custom code into your site, and can be used to embed third-party widgets such as videos, contact forms, and more. While adding custom code can extend your site's functionality, we recommend you only add code from a trusted source. Only add code if you know exactly what it does and how to troubleshoot it if it does not work. To learn more about using HTML in Developer Mode, see Developer Mode.
